Intro To Pole Fitness (Online)

This static pole introductory class teaches strength, flexibility, etiquette, and technique. Students will learn about pole various grips; pole sits; basic spins with combo transitions that will include fan kick; back bend; and pirouette. A supply list will be provided by the instructor prior to first class. A grounded stationary pole for home fitness use is required for this course. Wear t-shirt and yoga shorts for this class.
Reiki I Certification (In Person) Litchfield

You will learn to share Reiki with your family, friends, and pets, or even expand to the community as a volunteer. Discussion will be on the Reiki Level I attunement, handson practice, and handout materials. Instructor will hand out certificates at completion.
Quick HIIT (Online)

If you want an effective workout that burns calories, then this class is for you. This full-body workout is Tabata inspired. That means we will be moving through both cardio and strength movements quickly. Numerous options will be given so that you can pick your level of intensity. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will be able to have a deeper understanding of high intensity interval training and safe practices while working out, proper form while using free weights and body weight for strength training, timing for Tabata workouts, and how to change intensity levels for various exercises. This class is designed to get you in and out, so class will start promptly. I look forward to working out with you!
America's First Cavalry: A Revolutionary CT First (In Person) Watertown HS

Learn about the trails and tales of America's First Commissioned Cavalry, raised primarily in Connecticut. Through lectures and class discussions, have a fuller understanding of the State's role in the American Revolution. The course is taught by the Commander of the historic 2nd Regiment of the Light Dragoons and author of Saddle Bag Press' Soldiering On.
North African Dances: Morocco (online)

Learn Moroccan dances in the Maghreb (Northwest Africa) and Raqs sharqi (a classical Egyptian) style of belly dance. These dance classes allow you to travel across North Africa and Middle East & discover the dance in their roots, their meaning, and the geographical environment where they took form as social representation. You will learn general knowledge about the dances, basic techniques, and choreography.
Stepping Out Strong (Online)

A one-hour strength class including advanced strength and balance moves aimed at maintaining healthy muscles and bones. Upon successful completion of the course, the student will have a deeper understanding of safe practices while working out. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to, proper form while using free weights and body weight for strength training, and why strength training is important for bone health and strength.
Bolly X & Tone (Online)

A great workout that includes cardio and resistance training! We begin with 25 minutes of BollyX. Class transitions to a 25-minute full-body workout that includes cardio and resistance training. We end the class with a Bolly X cool down song. This is a challenging class, but the instructor will give you modification options. Be prepared to sweat it out! N. Moore
AARP Smart Driver Course (In Person) Litchfield

In this refresher course for drivers 50+ years old, participants review the challenges faced by aging drivers and receive guidance on how to continue driving safely. Students must bring their AARP card to class if they have one. There will be a fee payable to “AARP” at the time of class, $20 fee for members and $25 for non-members. There will be a short break. Please arrive 15 minutes before class starts.
