In this program, come learn from estate planning attorney Jeanne Di Minno about Wills, trusts, powers of attorney (POA), and health care directives. You’ll walk away understanding what these documents are for, what you need to do to create your plan, or, if you may need to have your existing documents reviewed and updated.

It will provide an understanding of the critical legal and financial elements needed to provide lifelong support for a loved one with special needs. It also provides a unique opportunity to learn from someone who has personal experience with these same issues.

Looking At Art: Art Appreciation ( Online )

Through discussion, activities and group interactions students will discover that you don’t need a degree in art history to have fun looking at and understanding art. Students will learn how to approach and talk about artwork in a museum or gallery.  Joanne Wasti, a former museum educator at the Guggenheim Museum in NYC, will facilitate careful observation and playful discourse whether it's looking a an Egyptian painting or contemporary installation.

Tennis For Adult Beginners ( In Person ) Torrington

Learn the basics of tennis. Class will cover ground strokes, volleys, serving as well as scoring and doubles positioning. Participants should wear sneakers and can borrow tennis racquets. Bird Watching For Beginners ( Online )

We’ll also cover bird feeders, great places to go birdwatching, and there will be pictures of common species throughout the class. Whether you’re a backyard bird watcher, or are eager to go out into the wilderness to check species off your life list, this is a great class to get you started.
