In this very interactive, action-oriented course, a certified international coach guides participants to find their passion, gift, or talent and to create a path to earn money doing something they love to do. Supplies for registered students to bring to first class to create a vision board include a square 8 1/2 X 11 board, adhesive, and some magazines; supplies will also be provided by instructor.

Have you learned to knit and feel ready to go beyond stockinette and garter stitch? If you have taken any beginner knitting class, then you are ready to knit cables. Students must know how to cast on, knit and purl. Upon successful completion of the course series, the student will be able to combine knits and purls to create beautiful braids that can be used to enhance sweaters, socks and more. Topics to be covered include, but are not limited to: gauge, reading patterns and charts, and knitting terms and tools. The instructor will email students with a supply list prior to the first class. Students should purchase the following book before class begins: Learn to Knit Afghan Book by Barbara Walker, Schoolhouse Press,ISBN# 9780942018134. Learn how to be a stand-up comedian from Nick at Nite's “Funniest Mom” and NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” contestant Kim DeShields. The class will explore how to identify potential material, how to turn life experiences into jokes and how to make simple observations funny. You will also learn ease, flow, and stage presence to develop your own personal comedy style or persona in your own short stand-up set (with feedback).

Design a beautiful table arrangement using foraged and local blooms. Students will learn basic design skills, along with new techniques for creating arrangements. By the end of class, you will be able to design an arrangement; learn floral techniques; master floral identification; and know tips on how to make flowers last longer. Prior to the first class, the instructor will contact students about purchasing class materials sold by her for a $50 fee.
