This static pole introductory class teaches strength, flexibility, etiquette, and technique. Students will learn about pole various grips; pole sits; basic spins with combo transitions that will include fan kick; back bend; and pirouette. A supply list will be provided by the instructor prior to first class. A grounded stationary pole for home fitness use is required for this course. Wear t-shirt and yoga shorts for this class.

This class explores the benefits and simplicity of keeping honeybees in horizontal top bar hives. This introductory class will cover basic information about beekeeping, focusing on the advantages of top bar beekeeping over traditional methods. The class is geared to those curious about honeybees and who may be considering starting hives of their own. Topics covered will be honeybee biology and behavior, hive management, cost, time commitment, equipment, harvesting honey, and will include a demonstration of equipment.
