Magical Matisse (Online)

What do watercolors, salt, plastic wrap, and crayons have in common? You will find out in this super fun and magical collage composition inspired by Henri Matisse. Topics include an introduction to materials, basic paint handling skills, and the magical element of abstraction. All levels of experience are welcome. 

Stained Glass Jewelry (In Person) Woodbury MS

$20

Calendar Nov 14, 2022 at 6 pm, runs for 1 week

Participants will design and create their own wearable art to take home while learning the basic techniques of cutting, foiling, and soldering stained glass to create a pair of earrings and a matching pendant. There is a material fee of $12 (cash) payable to the instructor on the first night of class. Please arrive on time.

Thinking about getting chickens? We will talk about whether to start with brand-new chicks or older birds, what your new flock will need, common maladies and how to treat them, and MUCH more! Upon successful completion of the course, the student will know the basics of how to choose chickens for their flocks, how to feed and house them properly, basic medical care, and what to do with those eggs!

We will discuss the nature of the mind and thought, the neuroscience of habit, supporting philosophies of meditation, and skillful ways to find presence.
