This Is What Opera Is All About (New) (Online)

Calendar May 3, 2023 at 7 pm, runs for 5 weeks

A quick course highlighting the development of opera with a look at its development, growth, and movements. We will look at some of its major composers, as well as the perils and pleasures of producing live opera. Upon completion of the course, the student will be able to fluently discuss opera, it's history, and some of it's best-known composers, enhancing their overal enjoyment of opera.

This class will teach basic conversational skills in ASL covering common topics in a fun way. Students will participate in basic, voice-off conversations. Topics to be covered include, but not limited to: basic personal information including name, family information, home, work, hobbies, passions, etc.

Advanced Beginner Swing Dance - More Cool Moves (In Person) Woodbury MS

This class is for those who already know how to Swing dance and would like to add more cool moves to their repertoire! We will continue learning many fun moves from both open and closed positions including underarm turns, kicks, spins, wraps, slides, and fi gure extensions longer than the usual 6-count pattern. Time to supercharge your Swing dancing and depart from the routine! All ages & no partners necessary.

Learn how to make fun, colorful, and delicious springthemed chocolate lollipops. This is a great class for families to do together. Upon successful completion of the course, the students will be able to design their own custom chocolate lollipops, know where to shop for materials, and learn how to use the tools. Instructor will call students with supply list prior to the first class. Also prior to first class, supplies can be purchased directly from the instructor for approximately $48 plus $8 shipping.
